The R-values of the floor, walls and ceiling can be adjusted to the requirements of the local climate. Typically the ceiling is R-30, walls R-13, and floors are insulated to R-10 for slab on grade, R-30 for platform. All of these can be adjusted by increasing the thickness of the insulation, we typically use polyisocyanurate for floors, walls and ceiling.
